Ahhhh, Florence

What a time we have had in Florence! Our days have been filled with culture, sight seeing, art, walking, golf cart rides, delicious food, fabulous Chianti, and most wonderfully with new friends. Ann, Morgan, Stephen, and I have been staying with Michel & Gorel, while Susan is just around the corner and down the curving road at Marinella & Guilio's house. Both Michel & Guilio are members of Rotary International and have done everything that they could possibly dream of to make our Florence visit perfect.

A few highlights...

Attending the final football game of the season against Siena. Final score 1-1.Spending time as a team with our host families. What a lovely and fun bunch of people!
Visiting the Comunale & Pergola Theatre for my Vocational Day. The back stage of the Pergola is the same size as the theatre itself. It was a fantastic tour.
Visiting the Marble mines of Carrera.

It has been outstanding. The Florence Rotary the their members have made this portion of the trip unforgettable. Grazie a mille!
