A busy day

On May 3rd we went to San Miniato in the morning where we walked to the top of the hill to see the view, and a lovely view it was. We had lunch overlooking the valley with the San Miniato club. Then we were off to the Museum of Piaggio where they make Vespas. It was a fascinating tour and we got the history of the company. They originally made airplane engines before the war, then changed their strategy and began making Vespas.

We did our first presentation at 11:00 pm after dinner. Our presentation was in Italian and we were told that we need to work on our accents and cadence but they enjoyed our slides and seemed to understand what we were trying to say.

Today, Susan, Suzy and I visited the Palazzo Blu museum in the morning and had the afternoon free. Stephen and Morgan went to visit the hospital and the transportation system.

I seem to be having problems uploading pictures, I will try again tomorrow. We are off to Siena tomorrow.
