Today, the group visited Pisa. In the morning we visited the leaning tower, the Duomo (Cathedral), the Baptistery, and the Cemetery. We had a great tour guide who explained everything in English for us. We got to hear a local singer demonstrate the beautiful acoustics in the Baptistery. After lunch we took a bus tour of the city. It was a rainy day, but still very beautiful. The end of the day found us at an exhibition of theatrical clothing which was impressive. Tomorrow is our first presentation. Our host families have been very good to us and we have enjoyed learning about Pisa.

Nashville had major flood but we had no damage so we are still wishing we were touring Italy right now!
