Farewell to Florence...and so much more!

POSTED BY STEPHEN

Marinella, Suzy, and Susan on the #2 Golf Cart.
(Gorel and I were in the #1 leader cart)!

May 11- Dinner at the Ugolino Golf Club. Before dinner, Gorel led us on a golf cart tour of the course! The property is beautiful. It was a lovely evening. Suzy posted a terrific picture of the GSE Italy Team with Micel, Gorel, Giulio, and Marinella at the club.

MAY 12

May 12th- The team visited Forte dei Marmi in the morning and the Cararra Mtns in the afternoon. The marble quarries of Cararra are magnificent.

Our Host families took us out for our final dinner together. We had Coccoli- a dish well know in the Tuscany region. It's friend bread dough, proscuttio, and siracchino cheese. It's marvelous. If you ever plan a trip to this region, put Coccoli on your "to-do" list!

The dinner party moved to Micel and Gorel's house where everyone said farewell. The De Faveri Tron and Todescan Families have been very warm, welcoming and gracious to us. They have done so much to make this an outstanding time. We have grown very fond of these exceptional people. It is diffifult to say goodbye! Without a doubt, one of the greatest parts of this journey is the incredible people we get to meet through Rotary.

Micel de Faveri Tron, Stephen, and Gorel de Faveri Tron.
Goodnight!
Stephen
