What a week!

Greetings,

We have had a wonderful week in Reggio Emilia and Ferrara! I stayed with an amazing family in Reggio; Cesare, Rena, Francy, and Fefy Lunardi. They are great! I really miss their company and hope to see them in the States soon. Here in Ferrara, Ann and I are staying with the Bargellesi family. Once again, we have had a great experience with the host families. Ferrara is a beautiful city with rich with history. We have enjoyed learning how the Renaissance and Medieval shaped this historic.

I also had a great visit with a lady who runs an agriculture tourism farm just on the outside of town. She has a great property with a nice bed and breakfast; Lama di Valle Rosa. If you get a chance check it out online. Here in Italy they are really focusing on promoting rural economic development, it is wonderful.

Today we took the train to Venice. WOW!!! Venice is amazing. The city is a labyrinth of small alleys and canals. We had a really great time, ate some fresh seafood, and enjoyed the sights and sounds of Venice. I will definitely have to come back.

I hope that all is well in the States. I will try to upload some pictures in Modena.

Take care,
Morgan

  2. Hey I went to that restaurant as well, good luck in finding it, we were given the directions by a gentleman who owned the glass factory we visited. He fell in love with Alice and was so kind to us. All is well here. We leave on Friday to go to Rhode Island. When do you return? Can't wait to see you, Nancy
