A very special day in LUCCA, Italy.
One morning, we visited the Museo Italiano Del Fumetto (The Italian Cartoon Museum). Since 1965, Lucca has hosted the International Comic Book and Gaming convention. Each year the event gets bigger and bigger. I was told that it has had more attendees than Comic Con in the past few years.
I grew up reading comic books. I was really looking forward to visiting the museum.

A rotarian from Montecarlo-Piana RC (Paola) asked her friend Gary to give us a tour. Gary, his wife, and his son met us there. (No, that is not their son. He was much cuter)!
During the tour, we found out that Gary currently draws for DC comics.
Gary gave us a demonstration of the process. In less than 10 minutes, he whipped out this sketch. It was amazing. I was completely thrilled. Gary is currently drawing Superman for DC comics.

Gary signed the sketch and my team members let me walk away with it.
I have already shipped it home. It arrived safely last Friday.
Another amazing experience...!
